Maploom has been awarded a contract to review the use of the Environment Agency’s core river network data which supports a variety of maintenance, modelling and reporting activities across the organisation. Ordnance Survey now create and maintain the river centreline map layer (OS MasterMap Water Network) and EA need to continue to transfer their processes and systems to use the new OS layer. Maploom are undertaking business analysis within EA in order to support the migration to the new dataset.
